About me
Brittany provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management services for children, adolescents, and adults. She has a special interest in pediatric mental health and supporting women through pregnancy and the postpartum period. Her clinical interests include the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorders, and other psychiatric conditions. She is passionate about helping patients navigate mental health challenges at every stage of life and recognizes the importance of individualized care that considers each person's unique experiences, needs, and goals.
Brittany believes in creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment. Her approach emphasizes evidence-based care and shared decision-making to develop treatment plans that align with each patient's goals. She also values a holistic approach to mental health and enjoys incorporating lifestyle factors, including exercise and nutrition, into treatment when appropriate. She believes in working collaboratively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to promote overall well-being and long-term mental health.
Outside of her professional life, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family, making memories with her children, and traveling. She is also an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to University of Tennessee Volunteers basketball and football.
