biophoto22CTere­sa Pratt is a licensed clin­i­cal social work­er with spe­cial­ized expe­ri­ence in geri­atrics and human-ani­mal bond issues (pet loss, com­pas­sion fatigue, treat­ment for ani­mal abuse). She earned her mas­ter of sci­ence in social work from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Ten­nessee in 2007 and also com­plet­ed a grad­u­ate cer­tifi­cate in geron­tol­ogy dur­ing that time.

She has worked in a vari­ety of set­tings includ­ing a par­tial hos­pi­tal­iza­tion pro­gram for old­er adults expe­ri­enc­ing men­tal health issues and/or mild cog­ni­tive decline, vet­eri­nary social work through the Uni­ver­si­ty of Ten­nessee Col­lege of Vet­eri­nary Med­i­cine, and CMH out­pa­tient clin­ics. While hav­ing expe­ri­ence with all age ranges, she cur­rent­ly sees indi­vid­u­als 16 years and old­er, cou­ples and old­er adults.
